Project Update

The new improved Pelhams Park Leisure Centre is beginning to take shape, with further works now completed

The structure of the pool walls and floor slabs are complete in addition to the block work for the dry changing area. The block work for the wet changing area continues. The dry change area has also been rendered and electrical and carpentry work carried out, plus wall tiling in this area has begun.

Over the next six weeks work will continue to finish wall rendering and electrical and carpentry work in the wet changing area, and we will continue to install the pool roof lights which have now been opened up. We will also progress with laying wall and floor tiles in the dry changing areas, commence the installation of the pool plant room and test the pool for water tightness.

Whilst the project progresses there will be intermittent building noise, but please be assured that work will be carefully carried out in order to keep disruption to a minimum. We thank you for your patience whilst we work to bring you a new improved fully accessible leisure facility.
